I Can't Write (Or I now interrupt myself from my usual posts for this kinda thing)

Says two writing firms I have applied for the last couple of months.

Yeah, I've been trying to establish myself as a 'writer' by trying out the industry itself. After applying for at least a dozen such firms, two responded and gave me a shot. They usually start with the same B.S.; "Oh, we've seen that you can write and all that so come on over and let's test you and shit".

Right. Opportunity knocks and yours truly is glad to oblige.
Pic unrelated. Though the thought of a giant heathawk slicing their building in half would be awesome.

Hobby Head-to-head: Mecha Plamo vs. Miniatures

Hey there fellow plastic crack addict. You might be wondering what the heck do I mean by 'hobby head-to-head'. It's just something I have been pondering about for the last few months being deeply immersed in two hobbies right about at the same time: mecha plamo (plastic models) and miniatures. Call it 'hobby mid-age crisis' but I'm gonna stick with the title. Anyway, on with the bugaloo.

Just Wild Beat Communication Part 2

So you might remember me working on a Gundam Wing kit early this year. And well, here it is:

BUUUUUT...this part 2 is not just regular electric bugaloo! There's more to it than this. And well, you just have to read on for more.

Reinforcements have arrived

2013 is fast becoming one of my lucky years in terms of plamo. starting this week, I've been getting some cool stuff from the mail. One of them:

A huge pile of hand-me-down gunpla!

Some of the kits here are GOLDEN, especially the Gundam Wing kits. All of them were already built but  are in good condition. But quite a few like the Chaos and Saviour are missing some parts (like that would stop me!). To my surprise, some of the boxes came with a handful of useful bits that I can use for future projects.

But that wasn't all. More after the jump!

JUST WILD BEAT COMMUNICATION

The Garage has been Warhammer 40,000 territory for most of the time last year. Moreover, it has been more of a scale model blog than anything else. So I thought maybe I should go back a bit to my first love in terms of scale modeling: GunPla

Here is my current project, a TT Hongli Master Grade Gundam Wing EW!

FINISHED: 1,500 point worth of WH40K ORKS!

I'm off at a very late start for 2013. It's about mid-month and I only have this post so far. Anyway, though that might be the case, this post is a major one as my first 1,500 point worth of WH40K Orks are now officially finished.

Warhammer 40,000: Building on a Budget 2

Continuing on my chronicling my forays on Warhammer 40,000 on a budget, here are my most recently finished projects that were done on a budget (Egad! <<< as 'on a budget' is mostly unheard of in this hobby).

Let me begin with what I've left off from my last post: DAT KUSTOM KILLA KAN!

Warhammer 40,000: Building on a Budget

Miniatures Wargaming as I and others have said before can cost a lot or less on preference. In my case, I like building things on a budget. As such, much of my current Warhammer 40,000 Orks army is built upon practicality.

A recent example: my Killa Kans:

Finished: SD Gundam Unicorn

Again, it's been a while since I posted here in my corner of the Universe. I had a lot to deal with in real life, with build and paint commissions left and right. Every now and then though, I manage to take care of some personal projects like this one:

A SD Gundam Unicorn!
